Norman Millard


Norman began Unitmovements in 1997 and has had a long career in cargo handling, international shipping, warehousing and freight forwarding.

Ben Thomas

Managing Director

Joined the business in 1999. Ben oversees all aspects of the business, covering all sites across South Wales and the South West.

Gareth Allsopp


Gareth joined the business in 2004. In his dual role as Director and Head of Operations, Gareth ensures that current procedures and key performance indicators maintain the high level of service that Unitmovements provide across all of our sites.

David Evans

Head of Fleet

David joined the team in 2004. He previously ran a home delivery network within South Wales and brings a wealth of transport experience to the business, in addition to leading our in-house RTITB-accredited CPC training.

David Thomas

Head of IT & Digital Security

David joined the team in 2011 as an operator, and within his IT role he has developed multiple bespoke systems that have become vital in everyday operations, enabling us to provide a better service to staff and customers.

Daniel Millard

Head of Finance

Daniel has a long history with the company and has taken the lead in standardising our financial processes, allowing for better analysis and reporting.

Joanne Didcott

Head of HR

Jo has recently joined the management team and is using her wealth of experience to spearhead further HR efficiencies with a focus on upskilling current staff in many aspects of their role/s and recruiting to add to our growing business.

Anthony Stokes

H&S / Warehouse Manager

Anthony joined the company in 2007 and as our operations have expanded, he has taken on the role of Warehouse Manager covering Wales & the South West. Most recently he has taken on the role of Health & Safety Manager of the company.

Chris Harley

Operations Manager (Cardiff Hub)

Chris is the longest serving operator in the company, having been with the company for over 15 years. His wealth of experience at all levels of the business have shown him to be an invaluable member of the management team allowing him to oversee all Cardiff online operations over multiple sites.

Ryan Hobby

Operations Manager (Cardiff Store)

Ryan has fast moved up within the company due to his energy and passion for ensuring efficient working practices are adhered to. His experience in heading up both store and warehouse-based operations allows him to meet or break many KPI targets month after month.

Nathan Wilson

Operations Manager (Bristol Hub)

Nathan has been in charge of our operation in Avonmouth since opening in 2017, leading the team to achieve record-breaking delivery numbers and efficiencies.

Jacob Long

Operations Manager (Bristol Store)

Jake is a new addition to management level but has a wealth of experience dealing with all aspects of running a delivery operation and is looking to put his own stamp on our largest store operation.

Thomas Dunsdon

Operations Manager (Exeter Store)

Thomas has taken charge of our Exeter operation and is looking to bring his usual energy and enthusiasm to the role, along with the experience he has gained over the past few years with us.
